Synopsis

Sai, a laid-back engineering student and proud last-bencher, wakes up late on the morning of his semester exam. Realizing he hasn’t studied a single word, panic sets in. He frantically recalls random sorting algorithms, hoping for a miracle. In desperation, he prays to God, promising to study sincerely if given one more night. To his shock, God appears — in the voice of Balayya — and grants him a time rewind to the previous night. Overwhelmed with renewed hope, Sai sets up a timetable, takes out his books, and starts his mission to become a “frontbencher.” But it doesn’t last long. Just as he begins, his phone buzzes. Friends are spamming memes, sending voice notes, and calling him to join the usual group chaos. Sai tries to resist, but the temptation is real. His hostel roommates barge in with loud music, half-cooked Maggi, and full-blown energy. What starts as a casual “let’s eat and chill” becomes a noisy night of dance, DJ remixes, viral meme mimicry, and over-the-top movie trailer reactions. One friend forces him to watch Manchu Vishnu’s speech for laughs, another plays TikTok compilations, and someone else brings political debate into the room. Chaos reigns. Every time Sai tries to escape to his books, a new distraction pulls him back — "one last reel," "one last laugh," "one last bite." He even prepares a color-coded timetable like Einstein, but falls asleep right after pinning it up. In a dream sequence, he imagines winning a gold medal and thanking 7 PM Maggi and 3 AM depression — showing how deeply his distractions have become part of his reality. Finally, he wakes up — not in his hostel room, but in the exam hall. Time’s up. Sai realizes he has nothing written, not even ink in his pen. God’s voice returns, disappointed: “Time rewind icha… but brain forward cheyyadam nee pani ra!” The film ends with Sai owning his failure with style, walking out slow-mo as “La la la life is gone” plays in the background, freezing on the words:
